Changes Coming to Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Courses
Starting in February, 2022, the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction courses offered through the UVA Mindfulness Center will be returning to 2.5 hour long classes instead of two hours. The change to two hours was made at the start of the pandemic when the classes all moved to being offered virtually. With our increased experience offering the classes via Zoom, we have decided to return to the original 2.5 hour format. In addition, the first class will now be an orientation and the course length will increase to a total of nine classes plus a daylong retreat rather than eight classes and a retreat. Given these changes, the standard course fee will change with the next class.
