UVA has opened a new office, the Specialty and Primary Care/Integrative Medicine Clinic Pantops, located at 650 Peter Jefferson Parkway in Charlottesville. This is UVA’s first multipdiscipilinary and integrative medicine clinic. Standard medical practice is offered by experienced doctors and nurse practitioners from UVa’s Department of Family Medicine and UVa’s Department of Medicine. It is a clinic offering excellence in not only traditional medicine but also in complementary therapies that have proven to be both effective and safe. The complementary therapies offered in the clinic include Mindfulness, Medical Yoga Therapy, Acupuncture, Massage, Nutrition, and Health Coaching. These complimentary therapies are paired with optimal patient care where patients have easy access, same day appointments, easy parking, enjoy a beautiful setting, are welcomed by a friendly and responsive staff, and can have home visits when home bound.
