We are soliciting submissions for a special issue of the Journal of Pain Management addressing mindfulness-based interventions for the treatment of pain.
We are interested in articles for this special issue that address the following topics:
- Trials of mindfulness-based interventions for the treatment of acute and chronic pain
- Studies of the physiologic effects of mindfulness-based interventions in patients with acute and chronic pain, including neuroimaging
- Papers addressing the historical and/or philosophical basis for using mindfulness-based interventions for pain
- Narrative studies of the impact of mindfulness-based interventions for the treatment of pain
- Review articles addressing specific aspects of the use of mindfulness-based interventions for the treatment of pain
This special issue will also be published as a book. Deadline for submissions is August 1, 2014.
