Christopher McCartney, MD, is an associate professor of medicine in the UVA Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism, and director of the Endocrinology clinical fellowship program.

Learning objectives:

  1. Apply diagnostic criteria for PCOS and understand potential diagnostic pitfalls.
  2. Perform appropriate comorbidity screening in women with PCOS.
  3. Understand how to counsel patients regarding therapeutic options for Hyperandrogenism, endometrial protection, contraception, and metabolic comorbidities.
