Gastroenterology Has a New Chief Onboard

James M. Scheiman, MD, joined the Department of Medicine’s Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology as chief in October 2017. He came to UVA from the University of Michigan, where he received his undergraduate and medical degrees as well as advanced training in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
