UVA Women’s Basketball

For the second year in a row, UVA Health System is running its successful Health System Hoos program. This is just one of the ways in which we can say thank you for the wonderful work you do every day. Health System Hoos is a partnership between UVAHS and UVA Women’s Basketball — a win-win relationship. You get discounted tickets, spirit items, snacks, and great seats, and our team gets the best fans in basketball cheering them on. Participating in Health System Hoos is a great way to show your UVA pride, spend quality time with family and co-workers, and support UVA Women’s Basketball. Last season Health System Hoos accounted for more than 13 percent of season ticketholders — with your help, we’ll grow that number this year!

This year’s program has a few changes, but some benefits are staying the same. You still get buy-one-get-one-free tickets. However, this year, you will get better accommodations: We will be in section 108 — this is near the UVA bench, and has comfortable seatbacks. Also, if you purchase your tickets by Monday, September 30, you will receive a welcome kit, complete with a foam finger, shaker, Health System Hoos pin, and a special bag. This kit will also include your season tickets and coupons for free popcorn and drink at each game.

Aside from the games, there are other special events planned for Health System Hoos members, including private tours and autograph sessions with the players and coaches, and other incentives. If you’re one of the first 50 people to purchase your tickets, you will be entered to win dinner with the team. Attendance throughout the season will also automatically enter you into drawings that include everything from traveling with the team to an away game of your choice, to tickets to the ACC tournament, with hotel and meals included.

Tickets are available now and I encourage you to participate. To purchase tickets, please visit this website.
