As Dean Kibbe highlighted in recent faculty meetings, the School of Medicine is reaffirming its commitment to NIH Research Career Development (K) Awards. K Awards are a vital funding source to support faculty as they grow in their research and serve as a launchpad for future funding opportunities. Going forward we will recognize PIs who have received new K awards in Medicine in Motion. This quarterly highlight will not only affirm the effort invested to obtain the K award, but will hopefully foster mentorship and collaboration across the organization.
Congratulations to the following researchers who have obtained K awards so far in fiscal year 2023!
- Josh Colston, PhD, Research Assistant Professor, Division of Infectious Diseases and International Health
- Silas A. Culver, MD, Assistant Professor of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism
- Kaitlin M. Love, MD, Assistant Professor of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism
