As the federal landscape continues to evolve, the School of Medicine recognizes the ongoing uncertainty this creates—particularly for those of you working diligently to sustain your research programs and support your teams. While changes have been less frequent, it is understandable that the broader situation remains unsettled and challenging.
Ongoing efforts at the national level continue to provide important input to the federal government regarding federal Facilities & Administrative (F&A) rates. These developments are being closely monitored, and you will be kept informed as more information becomes available.
The next Research Town Hall is planned for Wednesday, June 25, 12-1 p.m. in the Leonard Sandridge Auditorium. This will be an opportunity to share updates, answer your questions, and hear directly from you. A Zoom link was sent to School of Medicine team members in a meeting invitation for those who aren’t able to attend in person.
Thank you for your continued dedication and resilience. The School of Medicine remains committed to supporting you and your research during this period of uncertainty. In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, reach out directly to Melina Kibbe, MD, Dean, or Jeff Martens, PhD, Senior Associate Dean for Research.
