The University of Virginia’s Wallace H. Coulter Translational Research Center is launching a new podcast Biomedical Frontiers: Stories with Innovators in Healthcare. The show features in-depth discussions with leading healthcare researchers and entrepreneurs from the UVA community and beyond.
Each episode of the new podcast will bring together the brightest minds of biomedicine and healthcare innovation by featuring unique, pioneering research and visionary perspectives.
Notable podcast guests include:
- Natasha Sheybani, PhD, Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering, pioneering researcher in Focused Ultrasound Immunotherapy and the winner of Forbes 30 under 30 in Science
- James Daniero, MD, Associate Professor of Medicine, and founding member and director of Laryngology and Voice Care at UVA.
- Nathan Price, PhD, Chief Science Officer of Thorne Health Tech, and co-author of The Age of Scientific Wellness: Why the Future of Medicine is Personalized, Predictive, Data Rich and in Your Hands
Biomedical Frontiers embodies the Coulter Center’s mission to champion and foster translational research projects. The Coulter Center selected Dasha Tyshlek, CEO and Chief Strategy Officer of StratCraft, to develop and host the podcast, due to her extensive experience in public relations and marketing in complex and regulated engineering technologies.
