Aamir Javaid, a fourth year medical student, created the first coronary artery calcium (CAC) age-sex-race percentile calculator (www.cac-tools.com) for US young adults aged 30-45. This multi-site collaboration with Johns Hopkins combined multiple datasets with 20,000 total patients, the largest study in this population to date. The first author original research study was published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
