Christine Ibilibor, MD
Surgeon Christine Ibilibor, MD, is conducting a clinical trial titled “Pre-habilitation with Mindfulness and Exercise for Patients Undergoing Radical Cystectomy,” a procedure to treat advanced bladder cancer that is considered major surgery. Dr. Ibilibor’s study investigates the concept called “pre-hab,” which means trying to get patients as healthy as possible before surgery through exercise therapy, good nutrition, social support, anxiety-reduction, and improving well-being.
