In the spirit of the season, we often find ourselves in a reflective mood, thinking about the year’s events, accomplishments, and challenges. Every year carries a unique essence, a distinctive quality that sets it apart. This year, we have experienced unique political, community, and societal issues that have tested each of you. Your resiliency is evident and much appreciated, along with the grace you demonstrate daily in the excellent work you do for our patients and the support you give to your colleagues.
Serving you has been an immense source of pride. And, together, we’ve done some amazing things. In this past year, we’ve witnessed substantial growth not only in our numbers but also in our clinical, educational, and research missions. Looking ahead, I am very excited about leading the department to new heights and intensifying our commitment to nurture a culture that actively enriches a sense of belonging for every individual.
As we all know, with success often comes challenges. As members of our close-knit community, it remains crucial that we stand united in supporting each other, ensuring that no one bears their burdens alone.
This holiday season, I extend you heartfelt wishes for health and peace. Your contributions are profoundly valued, and we are grateful for the joy, happiness, and healing you bring to our community. Thank you.
With best wishes,
Mitchell H. Rosner, MD, MACR, FRCP
