Ronald Turner, MD, a professor emeritus in the Department of Pediatrics, recently contributed to a National Public Radio (NPR) story about how simple brain quizzes may predict who gets a virus.

Dr. Turner was a faculty member of the Department of Pediatrics from 2001-2020. He recently collaborated with Duke University and University of Michigan researchers on a report titled  “Pre‑exposure cognitive performance variability is associated with severity of respiratory infection” published in Nature  which was the impetus for the NPR interview.
