Kyle B. Enfield, an associate professor in the Department of Medicine, wrote an article for The Conversation about evidence-based ways to deal with long COVID that was shared in over 100 media outlets nationwide. According to the article, about 10% to 45% if COVID-19 survivors have ongoing symptoms three months after recovering from the illness. Dr. Enfield says it’s important to pace one’s activities, prioritize tasks, and focus on breathing exercises as ways to manage symptoms.
