Professor JoAnn V. Pinkerton, MD, in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, was interviewed for an article in Next Avenue about non-traditional treatments for menopause symptoms. The article discusses the symptoms of menopause, traditional treatments, and some non-traditional methods. Pinkerton says, “My advice to women who are struggling with the symptoms of menopause is to be in the best shape you can be mentally, physically and emotionally.” She also gives wellness tips for women over 50.
