School of Medicine researchers, Jaideep Kapur, MD, PhD and Anastasia Brodovskaya, PhD, were featured in The Conversation and other national news coverage for work on how seizures can cause memory loss. Dr. Kapur’s research interests include pathophysiology of status epilepticus and mechanisms and pathways of seizure spread. Dr. Kapur is a Eugene Meyer III Professor of Neuroscience, Professor of Neurology & Director of UVA Brain Institute.
