Fern Hauck, MD discussed new safe sleep guidelines for infants from the American Academy of Pediatrics on Virginia Humanities’ podcast With Good Reason. The American Academy of Pediatrics’ recommendations, updated for the first time since 2016, include putting infants to sleep on their backs on a flat, noninclined surface without soft beddings and shares the risks associated with bed-sharing.
