What is your proudest/greatest achievement outside of the professional realm?
My family!  My husband Kenny and our two sons Brandon who is eight and Benjamin who is six.

What are you usually doing on the weekend or during time off?
Spending time with my family, we enjoy being outside, exploring new places, taking walks and bike rides.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
I think the best piece of advice I have been given is something we have all heard over and over, to treat others the way you would want to be treated.

What about you would surprise us?
I was born and raised in Charlottesville, my first high school job was working at Michie Tavern.  Yes, costume and all!

What is your proudest/greatest achievement outside of the professional realm?
My proudest achievement would be my family.  I have an amazing husband who supports me.  I have a beautiful 8 year old daughter who has had us wrapped around her little finger since the day she was born.  She is so talented and we know she has nothing but big things waiting for her.  I also have a 17 year step-daughter who will be graduating high school , and we are very proud of her!

What are you usually doing on the weekend or during time off?
On the weekends I am usually spending time outside with my family or busy running my daughter to and from dance rehearsals.  My daughter is very active in dance and our family stays pretty busy with practices and competitions, but we wouldn’t have it any other way!

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
I would say the best advice I have ever gotten is – stay humble.  No matter how good you get at something, you can always be better.  I think this is important to teach our children in life challenges as they grow up.

What about you would surprise us?
I think that it might surprise a lot of people that I am a crazy dog person!  We have 3 dogs that are all rescues, ranging in size from small, medium to large!

Raising my children with Karen.

What are you usually doing on the weekend or during time off?
Visiting family or watching old movies.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Be honest and don’t hate anyone.

What about you would surprise us?
I like to cook….not fancy……steak and potatoes, stuff cabbage, spaghetti….(though, I still used canned sauce).

What is your proudest/greatest achievement outside of the professional realm?
My three children are by far my greatest achievement.  The wonderful and caring adults they have become are proof. They have been nothing short of a gift to me that is a constant reminder of what is important in life!

What are you usually doing on the weekend or during time off?
Weekends and time off are usually spent with family doing whatever comes up. We mostly enjoy outdoor activities, but will make the most of any activity.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That’s why it’s called ‘present’.

What about you would surprise us?
I’m a pretty simple person, so I don’t believe there is anything that would be a ‘surprise’.
