Jackie Lawson: Director for Women’s Services and Pediatric Ambulatory Operations

Jackie Lawson, BSN, RN, MBA has been appointed the new Director for Women’s Services and Pediatric Ambulatory Operations. Jackie Lawson has worked in Women’s & Children’s Services, Ambulatory Surgery, and Outpatient Services at the Director level for the past 20 years. She served as Director over multiple areas in Women’s, Surgical & Outpatient services at a 330-bed Medical Center facility for eight years. Her background also includes direct accountability for Orthopedics, Endoscopy, Pain Management, Rehabilitation, Telemetry and Critical Care. She has successfully managed the expansion and renovation of a new Women’s Center, operating rooms, developed and implemented two Endoscopy departments, and a Transitional Stay unit. Jackie has been at UVA as a transitional leader in the Women’s Clinics since July 2013 and begins her new role effective February 17, 2014.
