The Hartwell Foundation announced Dr. Jennifer Charlton’s selection to receive a 2012 Hartwell Individual Biomedical Research Award and her designation as a Hartwell Investigator. She will receive research support for three years at $100,000 direct cost per year for “Identifying Children at Risk of Chronic Kidney Disease: Utilizing Contrast-Enhanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging to Count Nephrons.” She is one of twelve individuals at eight institutions to receive an award.
