This year, the UVA Children’s Hospital Celebrates a decade of fundraising for children. The money raised at The Main Event Gala will help renovate and re-energize the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit on the seventh floor of UVA Medical Center.
Kate Rullman, Associate Director of Development, said “My favorite part of this year was seeing many of our guests embrace the theme of the Speakeasy by dressing in 1920’s fashion. It really enhanced the overall feel of the event!”
Jim Nataro, Pediatrics Chair, agreed with Kate. He said, “The Main Event is a celebration of all we do. The providers and members of the Charlottesville community come together in what is often called the best party in town! I am so grateful to this community for its strong support of the Children’s Hospital.”
Thank you to everyone who made this event a success. We’ll see you next year!
