Dr. Susan Anderson has won the Virginia Institute of Autism’s 2015 Stephen B. Perry Award for Outstanding Service to People with Autism. The Stephen B. Perry Award recognizes outstanding dedication and service on behalf of people with autism. The official award presentation will occur at VIA’s Gala on October 16, 2015. Dr. Ethan Long, Executive Director of of VIA, VIA members, and UVA Developmental Pediatrics announced this honor at the end of Dr. Anderson’s lecture at Fontaine on Friday, July 24. VIA had set up for a camera and photographer to be present and Dr. Anderson was very surprised!
