Uta Erdbrugger, MD
Uta Erdbrügger, MD, associate professor in the Department of Medicine’s Division of Nephrology, is an internationally known expert in the field of EV research who has spearheaded the Extracellular Vesicles (EV) interest group since 2015 at UVA. She will co-chair the 2023 annual meeting of the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles (ISEV).
The ISEV 2023 is a four-day conference, which will be held in Seattle, W.A. May 17-21, 2023. The conference will include a pre-conference educational day and 4 days of oral symposia, plenary talks, panel discussions and many networking opportunities. More than 1500 researchers from all over the world are expected to attend.
