Peter Hallowell, MD, was named President-Elect for the Midwestern Surgical Association. The MSA is a surgical organization comprised of 600+ surgeons who have established reputations as practitioners, authors, teachers, and/or original investigators. The mission of this society is to exemplify and promote the highest standards of surgical practice, especially among young surgeons in the Midwest.
Dr. Hallowell will become president of this association in 2024. He is a professor in the General Surgery Division with expertise in Bariatric & Minimally Invasive Surgery.
