Michelle Tran, MD
The American Society for Nephrology (ASN) Excellence in Patient Care focus group on the Acute Kidney Injury has selected Michelle Tran, MD, as an intern member for 2024. Dr. Tran is a first-year fellow in the Department of Medicine’s Nephrology Division.
The Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) education work group (AKINow) promotes excellence in the prevention and treatment of AKI by building a foundational program that transforms the delivery of AKI care, reduces morbidity and mortality, and improves long-term outcomes.
ASN is a professional organization focusing on kidney diseases. ASN’s mission is to create a world without kidney diseases, by educating and informing, driving breakthroughs and innovation, and advocating for policies that create transformative changes in kidney medicine throughout the world.
