Jose Javier Provencio, MD
Jose Javier Provencio, MD, the Louise Nerancy Chair in Neurology and a neurointensivist in the Department of Neurology, has been elected to the Council of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM). The SCCM is the world’s largest critical care medical organization with members in over 100 countries. As a member of the 20 member board of directors, Dr. Provencio will help oversee national and international educational programs, medical disaster relief outreach, and educational tools for critical care physicians.
