Jeffrey Gander, MD
Jeffrey Gander, MD, an associate professor of pediatric surgery, was named a Bloomberg American Health Initiative Fellow. He was awarded the fellowship and full scholarship to the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health program.
The American Health Initiative aims to identify people who have the potential to reshape how our nation approaches some of the most complex challenges facing public health. Dr. Gander was selected from an international pool of applicants. His work will focus on food systems for health.
