Becca Krukowski, PhD, Received Science Communication Award From Society of Behavioral Medicine

Becca Krukowski, PhD, a professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences, was awarded the Leading the Narrative science communication award from the Society of Behavioral Medicine for her article “The 7 Components of a Successful Weight Loss Plan,” which she co-wrote for the lay public with Kathryn Ross from the University of Florida. The article has sustained high readership to date, including over 400 views in 2022.  Dr. Krukowski received the award at the Society of Behavioral Medicine’s annual meeting in Phoenix, Arizona in April.
