Andrew Parsons, MD, MPH, an assistant professor of medicine and hospitalist in the Department of Medicine, Division of General, Geriatric, Palliative and Hospital Medicine, received the Early Career Physician (ECP) Award by the Virginia American College of Physicians (ACP). This award is presented to a select ACP member of the Virginia chapter, within 16 years of graduation from medical school, who has made significant contributions as a leader in internal medicine and academics, including publishing, teaching, and mentoring.
