Stewart Babbott, MD, and Mohan M. Nadkarni, MD, in the Department of Medicine, have been awarded Mastership in the American College of Physicians (ACP). Approximately 50 members a year out of the 161,000 member internal medicine organization are awarded this honor annually for their outstanding accomplishments, distinguished by their integrity and the significance of their contributions to medicine and advancing patient care. Awardees are also presently or have previously been active in the ACP at the chapter, national, or international level over a sustained period of time. There are currently 13 living Masters of ACP in the state of Virginia. Congratulations on the esteemed honor!
