The Council of Faculty and Academic Societies (CFAS) of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) identifies critical issues facing medical school faculty and academic societies and serves as a voice for both constituencies within AAMC’s leadership and governance structures. Each AAMC-member organization has the opportunity to appointment representatives to the AAMC CFAS. We are seeking nominations for a junior representative from the School of Medicine. A “junior representative” is defined as a faculty member within the first ten years of their initial faculty appointment.
The document found at this link explains duties and responsibilities of CFAS representatives. Nominations are due May 25, 2022. Additional information about CFAS is found here.
Please be in touch with Dr. Susan Pollart, Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Faculty Development (email@example.com) if you have questions and/or are interested in serving in this role.
