Margaret Plews-Ogan, MD, Brodie Professor of Medicine, recently presented a webinar “Wisdom & Medicine” for the Virtues & Vocations Education for Flourishing: Pursuing Purpose in the Professions webinar series. The series is part of a national forum for scholars and practitioners across disciplines to consider how best to cultivate character in pre-professional and professional education. It is produced by the Center for Social Concerns at the University of Notre Dame. UVA President Jim Ryan and and Surgeon General Vivek Murthy were also interviewed for past webinars.
