The inaugural class of THRIV – Translational Health Research Institute of Virginia Scholars is entering its second year, and THRIV has announced a new class of Scholars. The new Scholars include the following faculty from the School of Medicine:
– Nicholas Brenton, MD, Assistant Professor Neurology
– Thomas Hartka, MD, Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine
– Sana Syed, MD, MS, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics
And from the School of Nursing:
– Meghan Mattos, PhD, RN, Assistant Professor, Acute/Specialty Care
Additionally, NeuroNext Scholar Andrew Schomer, MD, Assistant Professor of Neurology, will join the group.
