“Dr. Abdel-Rahman is highly skilled and knowledgeable. But many physicians are skilled and knowledgeable. What sets Emaad apart is his compassion and humility. As an immigrant himself, he is highly sensitive to the challenges faced by our patients who are refugees and immigrants, starting life in a new country where they are unfamiliar with our medical system. He treats all his patients with utmost respect and demonstrates cultural proficiency and humility.” – Colleague

“Dr. Abdel-Rahman can always be counted upon for his prompt response and availability. I can always count on him for a thoughtful and detailed approach to challenging clinical situations.” – Referring Physician

“Dr. Krishnaraj is constantly working to improve service to patients and referring clinicians. He highly values efficiency and quality, and is always accessible to both patients and healthcare providers. He is always professional and consistently exhibits kindness and compassion to patients.” – Colleagues

“There have been several times that I’ve called her with a difficult case outside my area of expertise, and her answer has been to help me resolve the outstanding questions and to take over any appropriate needed role. She is an invaluable asset to any multi-disciplinary team.” – Colleague

“Shayna has been highly motivated to improve the patient experience through innovations in breast cancer treatment. Her most notable achievement to date is the Precision Breast Intraoperative Radiation Therapy (IORT) program.” – Colleague

“Her care has been exemplary. She has excellent bedside manner and displays a confidence and compassion that a patient with severe breast disease needs to have. I’m impressed with her follow-up of patients once they’ve left her office.” – Referring Physician

“Dr. Tiouririne works passionately and tirelessly to make a real difference to his patients and his profession. Many medical professionals within and outside of UVA often request Mo when they themselves or their loved ones are expecting to deliver.” – Colleague

“While there are many strong, brilliant, and capable anesthesia providers, Dr. Tiouririne stands out among them. We have worked together to provide urgent and life-saving care to many complicated maternal fetal pairs over many years now. He is exactly who I hope to see running into the room when a perinatal code is called.” – Colleague

“Dr. Tiouririne’s dedication to the protection of those who entrust their lives, as well as the lives of their unborn children, to his care continues to be an example to me and to those who have the good fortune of working with him.” – Referring Physician
