UVA Health’s Office of Diversity and Community Engagement, Health Sciences Library, and the School of Nursing’s Inclusion, Diversity, and Excellence Achievement Initiative are hosting a screening of Birthing Justice, a documentary film centering on the expertise and lived experiences of Black women and their advocates. The film is about racial disparities in birthing and maternal mortality.
