Overview:

The health sector’s global climate footprint is massive—if it were a country, it would be the fifth-largest emitter on the planet, and the U.S. health-care sector is the worst offender. This conference is designed to equip people who are interested in health care sustainability with resources and strategies for reducing health care sector contributions to climate change. The agenda is built around the action steps outlined in the Health Care Without Harm Global Road Map for Health Care Decarbonization.

Target Audience:

RNs, MDs, PAs, administrators, students in health and environmental sciences, and others with an interest in climate and health.

Keynote Address:  Introduction to the Health Care Without Harm Global Road Map for Health Care Decarbonization

Speaker: Amy Collins, MD, an emergency medicine physician and passionate advocate for sustainable health care and planetary health.
