Partnering with Mentees to Examine Their Developmental Network: Promoting reflection, attention and intentionality

Description/Learning Outcomes: In this interactive session, participants will engage in a hands-on exercise that they can use in conversations with their mentees. Discussion during the session will focus on how to guide mentees to define goals and proactively expand and strengthen the relationships in their developmental network to meet those goals. After participating in this session, attendees will be able to:
• Guide mentees to reflect on the patterns in their current network
• Coach mentees to use networking as a tool for professional development
• Identify opportunities to serve as a sponsor for their mentees
