Online Clinician Reviews: Understanding Them & Their Impact

Faculty Description/Learning Objective: Even if you don’t monitor your online reviews, you’ve probably at least heard of Yelp, Vitals, ZocDoc, and other clinician rating sites. In this class, you’ll learn:

• How reviews and review sites work
• What data tells us about what motivates patients and caregivers to write and read reviews
• What influence reviews (rightly or not) wield in the minds of those seeking care
• Best practices for interacting with reviews and clinician review sites (if you choose to)
