- Hispanic Heritage Month Celebración | Friday, Sept. 27 | 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. | MR5 Courtyard | UVA Health is kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month’s first-ever celebration of Hispanic and Latino culture in the UVA Health University Medical Center. Staff, faculty, students, and the community are welcome to attend.
- My Story, My Voice: Featuring Silvia Romero | Monday, Oct. 7 | noon-1 p.m. | Pinn Hall 1005 and Zoom | Silvia Romero, Director, Diversity and Inclusion, Sentara Healthcare, Harrisonburg, Virginia, will share a 45-minute presentation on her academic/career journey using storytelling, significant mileposts, new learnings, and recommended best practices and benchmarks for consideration.
- UVA Health Storytellers Featuring Dr. Max Luna | Monday, Oct. 14 | noon-1 p.m. | Pinn Hall 1005 and Zoom | Max Luna, MD, will share his academic and career journey using storytelling, significant mileposts, new learnings, and recommendations for positive individual, team, and institutional growth.
