My Story, My Voice Featuring Charley Burton

Charley Burton, a Charlottesville native and activist, will participate in “My Story, My Voice,” a storytelling event co-sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Community Engagement for UVA Health and the School of Medicine’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

The primary objective of “My Story, My Voice” is to utilize storytelling to achieve a greater understanding of an individual’s lived experiences, share stories that frequently go untold, and develop strategies about how we can create safer and more inclusive and equitable environments.
