Event LinkThe Center for Excellence in Education is pleased to present Education Grand Rounds facilitated by Karen Hauer, MD, PhD, Vice Dean for Education and Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Hauer is an active researcher and curriculum developer in medical education and a research mentor for fellows, residents and students, with a focus on competency-based medical education, learner assessment, coaching and remediation. She will be speaking on the topic of Competency-Based Medical Education to Promote Learning, Fairness and Equity in Medical Student Assessment. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a brief question and answer period at the conclusion of the lecture.
