The Center for Excellence in Education is pleased to host Uzoma S. Ikonne, PhD, for an Education Grand Rounds on Tuesday, September 17. Dr. Ikonne is an Associate Professor at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He is a basic science medical educator who teaches pharmacology to pre-clerkship medical students. Also, Dr. Ikonne has experience conducting medical education research and mentoring students in medical education research. He is a faculty member of the Harvard Macy Leading Innovation in Health Care and Education course.

Please join us for Dr. Ikonne’s Grand Rounds talk, “Lessons Learned: My Path Into Medical Education Research and Mentoring,” beginning at 12:15 p.m. Lunch will be provided in-person, and this event will also be available to stream.
