Appalachian Translational Research Network Virtual Webinar Series

The Appalachian Translational Research Network (ATRN), of which iTHRIV is a member, is dedicated to addressing the unique health challenges and disparities faced by Appalachia. Its goal is to strengthen research collaborations that accelerate the application of scientific discoveries to improve health outcomes in the region.

The ATRN is focused on fostering community engagement and outreach throughout Appalachia, while also enhancing T1 research collaborations that target the chronic health conditions prevalent in the area.

Due to the cancellation of the ATRN 2024 Annual Health Summit caused by Hurricane Helene, we are excited to introduce the ATRN Virtual Webinar Series. This online event ensures that we can continue to share valuable research and encourage collaboration within the Appalachian health community.

We invite you to join us for this engaging series, as we spotlight the vital work being done in Appalachian health research:

• Friday, February 7, at 12:00 p.m. ET – ATRN 2024 Oral Presentations Q&A Session
