Please join the Department of Urology and the Charlottesville Track Club for the 2023 Bill Steers Four Miler to run/walk to support prostate cancer research. The event is open to participants 6 – 85 years old, and all genders.
The Bill Steers Four Miler was started by William “Bill” Steers, MD, the former chair of the Department of Urology who passed away in 2015. Dr. Steers was a visionary researcher and outstanding clinician, teacher and leader in urology. He started this fundraising event to highlight the positive impact of exercise and a healthy lifestyle.
Proceeds from the event will go to support the Department of Urology’s prostate cancer research, as well as research into survivorship, reconstruction and recovery of function for all patients.
