The White Coat Ceremony and Convocation, endowed by the Class of 1965, will celebrate the incoming class of 2027 medical students on Friday, August 11, the 2023 at 4:00 p.m. If you wish to attend this special event, tickets are required for entry and may be requested may be requested here. The UVA Medical Alumni Association will provide reserved seating for students and faculty.
Tickets will be available at Will-Call in the lobby of Old Cabell Hall on August 11. Please only register if you plan to attend, as we will be distributing extra tickets to the students for their guests. We will have reserved seating at the front of the auditorium for faculty, staff and special guests. All faculty members who are present for the event will be asked to recite the “Covenant for the Entering Class and their Teachers.” Faculty, please wear your white coat.
