The Division of Surgical Sciences in the Department of Surgery invites you to attend a special seminar featuring Bradley Toms and Alex Schneider from 10x Genomics who will present the recent advances in scRNAseq technology and its broad applications to cancer biology, regenerative medicine, virus infection, aging biology, etc. Chengli Shen, MD, PhD from the Department of Surgery will also present the general principles for data mining and analysis associated with the scRNAseq technology.
This special seminar will be of broad interest to all faculty members in the School of Medicine and the School of Data Sciences (SDS). All faculty members and researchers are encouraged to sign up for this event, and to send their questions to Michael Freeman and Jianjie Ma, PhD. Depending on the number of responses, the venue of the in-person seminar will be announced to accommodate the whole audience.
