UVA Health Department of Diversity and Community Engagement in partnership with the School of Medicine Department of Public Health Sciences is offering student volunteer support to area nonprofit organizations. Types of support offered from students may include:
- Help finding grant opportunities
- Research assistance & literature reviews
- Volunteers to support one-time events or long-term opportunities
- Internships
All support is available based on student availability and interest.
The mission of the Department of Public Health Sciences is to provide excellence and leadership in innovative research, education, and community engagement strategies to advance clinical care, patient outcomes, and population health.
