Medical students enjoyed comforting canine companionship – and some tasty treats – to help them de-stress from their exam prep at the Claude Moore Health Sciences Library on Friday, December 2. The annual “5 Cs Caring Break” made its return for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began. UVA Health’s popular Pet Therapy pooches provided students with soothing stress relief and the three other Cs: coffee, cider and cookies. The fifth C? “Contributions.” The event gathered donations for the local Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
