The Tuesday Instagram Takeover Campaign was designed by the Mulholland Social Media Representative Team to showcase the school community and provide the public with an inside look at what it means to be a UVA School of Medicine student, alumnus, staff, and/or faculty member. Featured students will post stories highlighting a day in their life, while engaging with followers, answering questions, and discussing their experiences with pre-clerkship classes, clerkship, research, activities and student life at UVA School of Medicine.
The “Ask Me a Question” feature of the takeovers provides an open line of communication, allowing followers to ask specific questions and receive real-time responses from the featured student throughout the day. These “Takeover Tuesdays” aim to foster a stronger sense of connection between prospective students, current students, and alumni by providing an authentic glimpse into the daily experiences and community spirit at UVA.
