The School of Medicine is thrilled to congratulate 39 Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program (BIMS) students who were conferred Doctor of Philosophy degrees in the 2023-24 academic year. We celebrated these PhD students on May 19 at the Biomedical Sciences Hooding Ceremony — a day of great achievement and promise as they take the next steps in a lifelong pursuit of scientific discovery. It is their innovation, curiosity, and persistence in research that will lead to life-saving treatments for patients in Virginia and beyond, and much more!
